James followed the AI safety field since the mid 2000's before helping build Constellation. His career has focused on startups and entrepreneurship in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. He was a key technology leader at PayPal as the company scaled from 100 to 10,000 people, and served as EVP Engineering during its acquisition by eBay.
Meghna Mann
President & COO
Meghna oversees programs and operations that strengthen the AI safety ecosystem’s talent pipelines and organization building. Previously, she led MetaMap, a global identity verification company, as COO and then CEO. Meghna has also held prior roles at BlackRock and the Brookings Institution. She has supported several high-growth tech companies as an advisor to the Endeavor Global Network.
Keith Weissglass
Director of Operations
Keith leads the Program Operations team, which manages Constellation’s research center and supports its AI safety programs. Keith’s previous work includes management consulting at Gartner and leading product marketing at several successful tech startups.
Nicole Ross
Director of Convening
Nicole manages the Convening team and drives key strategic initiatives and projects for Constellation. She brings experience from board governance, organizational leadership, management, research, and operations. She has previously worked at CEA, Coefficient Giving, and GiveWell.
Jameace Maliga
Director of People
Jameace leads the design of talent strategies and organizational systems that support Constellation’s mission and growth. Previously, she held senior leadership and advisory roles in recruiting, talent operations, and HR operations across technology and financial organizations, focusing on scaling teams, optimizing tools and processes, and creating human-centered experiences across the talent lifecycle.
Alexandra Bates
Program Manager
Alexandra manages the Organizational Access Program and other membership programs, runs events, and works on other convening and brand work. She created and ran the first cohort of the Astra Fellowship. She previously worked at the Institute for Progress and AI Lab Watch, cofounded and ran MIT AI Alignment, and held research roles in theoretical physics.
Isaac Dunn
Program Manager
Isaac works on events and programs focused on strengthening connections between different parts of the AI safety ecosystem. Before joining Constellation, Isaac completed research measuring reward hacking generalization in frontier LLMs, and earned a PhD evaluating the robustness of image classifiers.
Lucy Mahaffey
Program Manager
Lucy manages Constellation's Visiting Fellows program and oversees strategic programming and events across the research network. Prior to Constellation, she coordinated transatlantic exchanges between US and UK legislators. Lucy’s previous experience includes ten years of research into human trafficking. She has degrees in international relations and sociology from The University of Oklahoma, Nottingham, and Cambridge.
Henry Sleight
Manager of Research Programs
Before joining Constellation, Henry built out MATS’s London program and worked closely with MATS mentors at Anthropic. He is a former Constellation Astra Fellow under Ethan Perez, where he worked on model collapse, introspection, and jailbreak attacks & defenses.
Morgan Matthews
Senior Research Program Manager
Morgan is a research program manager supporting AI Safety researchers across Constellation's Fellows programs with a focus on the Anthropic Fellows program. Her previous work includes leading organizations dedicated to nuclear weapons risk reduction and mapping existential threats to create strategy and decision support tools for global leaders. Morgan has presented and facilitated at the UN, TED conferences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and other international forums.

Connor supports Constellation's Fellows programs and the researchers who join them. Before working in AI safety, he led engineering teams at software startups, helping people and teams grow and products find market fit.
Anam Nguyen
Finance Lead
Anam leads Constellation's finance and accounting. She has experience in operations, business development and finance across various industries. She holds a degree in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business. Anam serves on the Board of Animal Alliance Asia and Wild Animal Initiative.

Briza leads Human Resources at Constellation, focusing on strategic HR planning, employee relations, talent retention, performance management, and HR compliance. Before joining Constellation, she worked in Human Resources and Operations for multiple tech startups and the UC.

Julian supports Constellation through system design and operational improvements. Previously, he founded and scaled an international business services company. Julian is also a part-time map and puzzle maker.
